So as always, the state of busyness or business has kept us from updating this everyday or even every week. Let the post begin in the state of randomness style that we’ve grown to love.
August has been a great learning experience. Seek your Word always Learn it and Live it. For wisdom and knowledge not put into action is rendered useless.
I’ll update this post but for now i’ll just cover what i have available. The camera is still busted so once again I rely on the great community of photographers that have let me use their photos.

First event.. first time the public got to enter the shop. Word! I’d write what I thought about everything, but I think the news media got a good grasp on things.. During a break that I had I was able to talk to Kavet and during that time was able to understand where he was coming from. It was definitely another eye opener because everything he has done it was never about money, something you can respect. To shell out money for events out of his own pockets so that people would be able to attend beat battles, freestyle sessions, and check out dope art! It was on that level of how you knew a person, respected what they did, and then when you actually got to meet them they took it to another! for real! Just a guy you can sit around a bbq and chill out, talking about anything and everything just a cool braddah. Since 96-97 Lightsleepers has been around over a decade of grindin’ an honor to meet you kav!!

Another spot thats super dope is Split Obsession in the Koko Marina Center, Just met up with Bruce & Erica and they are cool!! seriously just start up a convo with them and you’ll end up staying there for the whole day!! especially when you can grab shave ice, catch a movie, hit up pricebusters, and do the late night zippy’s run all in one place. The store is dope the people are super knowledgeable and they have sick clothes and toys!! Kid robot anyone?? anyone?? I’m always down if I have a couple bucks to spare. They have a show coming up on the 23rd also, you can catch them at the Green is the New Black event at Aloha Tower. Art, Toys, & Clothing what more could you want?? Go check it out its well worth it!! If you could sell inspiration this is a place you could buy it at.
Christina and her store exclusive!! An all women’s boutique for women, for the ladies by the ladies super super dope!! If you don’t believe me then go check it out and prove me wrong. Just for the ambitions, the dreams, the goals, and everything in between she gets out, supports everyone and is super positive all the time. Nothing but good vibes all the time, her store is sickkk with art always gracing her walls Pancho & Koak hitting up the back of the counter and ceiling its done really really well.
